La menuda produccions

"Babies are public today, we don't wait for tomorrow!"

La Menuda produccions, we are dedicated to performing family shows and concerts for early childhood (0-3 years). Our shows are organic sensory experiences, shared between children, families and musicians. And we say sensory experiences because La Menuda show is not just music... Babies are curious and have a vital need to know what surrounds them. This discovery comes to them thanks to having all their senses awake (hearing, sight, touch, taste, smell,...)

We want our shows to be a close experience. That is why families and children will be very close to the actors, dancers, musicians and their instruments. This way they will enjoy first-hand the experience of exchange and complicity. Discovering live music and enjoying a show will create intense, magical and unforgettable moments for the whole family.

On a musical level, we bet on the figure of the cello, which is responsible for bringing the rhythm and strength of the show. We have Edgar Casellas, an eclectic musician, who combines teaching with musical shows as diverse as symphonic concerts, collaborations with current bands or theater companies as well as shows with electric cello passing through wine tastings.

In terms of dance and movement. We were looking for someone versatile, who could dance both classical ballet and urban dance... and at the same time could perform her role as Layla (10-year-old girl) on stage. For the dramaturgy of the show, this must be the profile of a teenage girl. For this role, there is Jana Noguera. Trained in classical and modern dance, as well as in musical theatre. Jana also has experience of shows for Babies, being a member of the Company Pels més Menuts.

Music is one of the parts that we want to take care of very delicately. We have the figure of Nina Sunyer. Violinist with extensive training and concert experience at European level. He currently collaborates with "Le Concert des Nations" by Jordi Savall, also with the orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, and the OBC. He has played on the latest projects of Rita Payés and Núria Graham. He has also worked in the field of music for early childhood as part of the Company Concerts for Babies (directed by Paulo Lameiro). And currently he also plays with the Fireluche Orchestra, a musical group that mixes toy instruments with conventional instruments.

We want Madame Lumière to be a show where the stage work is important, to give life to a drama that will transport us throughout the show on a dreamlike journey in a Circus environment. That is why we have Aina Sánchez. Actress and singer trained at the Institut del Teatre who has recently worked for Dagoll Dagom, the National Theater and the "Compañia Nacional de Teatro Clásico". She will be the singer and actress who will bring Madame Lumière to life.

Dramaturgy - actress and singer

Madame Lumière wants to be a poetic and magical journey through dreams. Percussion is essential to create this sonic magic. This is the work of Xevi Puig "Quinyo". Drummer, percussionist, and singer with long experience in the world of music, both for adults (Petit Fours, Aquitamxé, Le Croupier), and in family shows (País de Cotó and Trambòtics). His versatility (singer and percussionist) and character make him a key part of the artistic team.

Percussion and voice

With more than 30 years of experience creating family shows, and with 10 years making music for early childhood, he begins a new artistic stage. He has been part of the two productions of the Company Concerts for Babies (BITÓ) directed by Paulo Lameiro. He was also founder and Artistic Director of the Company Pels més Menuts, as well as creator of País de Cotó shows for twenty years. Having closed these stages, he launched himself in search of new formats and disciplines for shows for early childhood, starting with this production: Madame Lumière, a tribute to light, night and dreams.

Faló Garcia i Pellejà

Artistic direction and voice

In order to enrich the timbre of Madame Lumière's musical pieces, we have the profile of a multi-instrumentalist musician. For this reason, we count on the presence of Maria Cruz who plays the piano, sax, and sings. She has been in charge of making the arrangements and musically directing the show. She is a graduate of ESMUC with extensive musical experience in fields as diverse as the group "Pepet i Marieta", SAMBACH, Arar, the Vives project, and different jazz formations.
